Leo is the name of the founder and also gives the name to the company: Labels En Onderzetters (labels and coasters in Dutch). 

Thanks to a vast experience and eduction in different paper factories and wholesalers, we are not afraid to state we have excellent knowledge of paper and all byproducts. Furthermore, thanks to extensive training at the Graphic Lyceum, we are also experts in offset printing. A 20-year-long commitment to one of the biggest printing groups in the Netherlands, has developed our knowledge even further. 

Since 1996 our main focus has been on labels for smaller beer breweries, following a request from a big brewer having issues with labels polluting the rinsing machines. This contact with beer brewers in the Netherlands and Belgium has increased the request for coasters with a better and consistent quality, able to withstand liquids. 

Prior to starting L+E+O Labels and Coasters, we have profoundly studied the European Law 1169/2011, to advise brewers what can and can't be done when it comes to labels, ingredients, claims, and so on. 

In 2013, L+E+O was founded.
